Title: Justice League 3000 Issue 9

A new Justice League by Keith Giffen & J.M. DeMatteis drawn by Howard Porter sounds like a fanboy dream come true, and finally the title seems to hit its stride. At first, this title seemed just a bit weird, and that hasn’t changed. Now, though, it’s a bit strange with a purpose.
If you haven’t been following, the title features the JL cloned in a dystopian future run by “The Five.” Since they are clones, they don’t have all of their predecessor’s memories, making for some interesting dynamic especially between DC’s Trinity. Hal, the size of a doll, and Barry’s penchant for dying has made for an “anything goes” type of storytelling.
Porter really delivers on the art, like the old days. It’s so great to see him back doing what he does best. Where this title is going and how long they can continue this story is anybodies guess. How does this fit in to the The New 52 and the upcoming Legion of Superheroes are question that plague me. Can’t wait o see this pan out,.
