Before I begin to tell you about how talented Lenin Silverio is, I must admit that he is my cousin and one of my favorite people to ever exist in this world. Hell, my son’s middle name is Lenin, and while some may think it came from the infamous commie, it was definitely this Lenin that inspired it.
That said, even if I didn’t know him or if I thought he was a total “jerk face”, I would never be able to say that he was anything less than extraordinary when it comes to art. His work has come a long way from the portraits of Spider-Man and the Ninja Turtles that he made for me as a child, but his creativity, attention to detail and brilliant use of color have been with him his entire life.
