The Ghost of Uncle Joe’s Halloween Ball and Fundraiser returns to the Jersey City Cemetery October 22 – 23, 2021.
When I say the best halloween party ever, I mean it. Every year, Anthony “Dancing Tony” Susco, fun runner at Jersey City’s Rock-it Docket, hosts the Ghost of Uncle Joe’s fundraiser for and at The Historic Jersey City & Harsimus Cemetery featuring a star-studded lineup of all of my favorite (cover) bands. But these ain’t your average cover bands. Dressed in full costume, these acts look and sound like the real deal … sometimes even more so than the bands they’re covering.

The Ghost of Uncle Joe’s has become a family tradition for me and so many others in and around Jersey City. And if watching Joy Division open for Guns N’ Roses in a cemetery on Halloween weren’t enough, it is for a noble cause, which makes it that much better.
