I recently moved from a small Jersey City apartment to a house in the suburbs. Along with many other things I had to learn about post-city living, was how to do “manly” work. But, a nerd can never be all that manly. So, when my father gave me an old broken wheelbarrow, I couldn’t help but think that it was lacking the nerdy flare I so desperately needed in my life.
