I was challenged on Facebook some time ago to post 10 albums that changed my life. A request, like many social media asks, that I would’ve shrugged off, but this one made me think. It wasn’t asking that I name my favorite albums. It was asking for albums that changed my life. And for me, music has shaped me more than any other medium, so the impact of these albums had to be great to make the list. It was much harder than I thought it was going to be and some really important albums didn’t make the list, but, if I have to only choose 10, these are the 10 albums that made me who I am today (in chronological order of my life changes). So what does this say about me?!?!? – Dennis Marrero

1. The Cure – Boys Don’t Cry

2. Jane’s Addiction – Ritual De Lo Habitual

3. Nine Inch Nails – The Downward Spiral

4. Rage Against the Machine – Self Titled

5. The Pixies – Surfer Rosa

6. The Smiths – The Queen is Dead

7. Radiohead – Kid A

8. My Bloody Valentine – Loveless

9. Modest Mouse – Lonesome in the Crowded West

10. Elliot Smith – Either Or
